The brand new price here is almost a ripoff. This is the first gen G14 with barely a gaming GPU and a 60hz display. For $850 you likely won't find another 14 inch but every 15 inch will absolutely smoke this as you can get a 3050 Ti for $850…with nearly twice the frames in most games.

I would also note that for $750 or so you could find a lightly used 2060 model that will perform way better.

agreed. if you want to use this for "gaming" as this is a portable gaming laptop, this is yuck

The open box excellent price isn't a bad deal for a portable multipurpose laptop with solid battery life. Finding a laptop with a non trash display plus a dgpu is very hard to find under $800.

it has 16gb and 512gb ssd. So unlike many other sub $800 deals, no upgrade is needed there. I think $550 is a great price for a multimedia laptop. I don't game much as long as it could handle LOL then I'm good with it.

I personally would just use the extra $$ to play game console.
