Looks like Total Tech members can grab this is blue or white for $529.99 which is $200 off retail price and the best price I saw since last Black Friday on the unit. Well reviewed if your in the market for it's specific uses.

I picked one up for the home office and it's been a great addition.

I've been looking at this monitor for almost a year now. Recently saved the money to get it (just a kid) I was wondering do you guys think this is good or will black Friday directly bring a better deal? I always see this item discounted at just above this price range so I was thinking waiting longer for around $400 what do you guys think????

It's a small smart TV with a webcam. Not sure it's worth the price premium over a comparable 32 inch "regular" monitor. Reviews are OK, but not spectacular.

I agree, but this is the monitor I've wanted for a while now as it can function on its own without a pc, I'm just questioning if to buy it now or later at a possible better deal, not questioning to buy it or not

I would buy a higher refresh rate monitor at this size and slap on a dirt cheap roku or something. Blackfriday will have loads of monitors going on sale with this economy we're having.

That's the first-world dilemma that we SDers must face: will the enjoyment of the trinket earlier outweigh the satisfaction of getting a slicker deal later. Commendable that you refrained from NFTs and GameStop enough to have the privilege of this dilemma 👏

Couldn't you just buy this 32 Inch Samsung 4K monitor and a Roku Ultra and it would be cheaper?

it's a pretty good deal and worth going for. BF is a crap shoot. may get it or not and in the end the savings will be what - $50? the higher refresh would be nice but isn't critical unless you're really gaming.

one other option to consider is the LG Smart Monitor (32SQ780S) which was recently released and I think is actually priced new a lot more competitively, being sub $500. it doesn't come with a webcam like the Samsung but it does have a much more adjustable Ergo monitor arm.

I have the Samsung M5 in my office that doubles as a spare room for guests. I like the duality of this line from Samsung as it doubles as a tv for guests and is easy to navigate. As a monitor it suits my needs- mostly use it for excel and paperwork. I don't game on it.
The wife likes that it is white and matches the decor better. I paid $150 for the M5 about 18 months ago.
The M5 is only 1080P and I've been looking to upgrade to a 4k screen. So may bite on this deal. The price is the only thing holding me back. Quite costly for what it is.

For anyone interested, here is the ratings review;

(I believe the review is for "last years" model, could be wrong)

You can get a 32" 120hz+ monitor for half this price, and add a 43" TV 60Hz on the side as a second monitor/streamer for the same price. This is my setup. The only real compromise you might have to make is VA panel over IPS for your monitor. IPS is nearly always better for productivity as they're RGB native subpixels, which means perfect text clarity. 120Hz+ IPS panels, however, are outrageously overpriced. If you're a big Samsung fan and have a .edu email address, try signing up directly with Samsung for their extremely generous student discount.

Samsung has this for 529.99 as well. If you have an education account (or can get one) it brings the total down to $476.99 for the M80B
Next cheapest I have seen was on prime day at $499.99 for the green colored one.

I would wait until BF. Like another person mentioned, the economy is really bad right now and most companies have too much inventory cause people are being more conservative with spending so they'll have to offer crazy discounts during the holidays to clear this inventory. At the end of the day, they still have crazy good profit margins

In for 1! Been looking for a monitor that has decent stats and an elegant design. If it doesn't work out, that's fine because Amazon has a very generous return policy especially during holiday season!
