Brandsmart goofed on the item page. Description says C1 Series, which is a 2021 model. The model number, picture, and product features on the item page are for the 2022 B2 series. Price is the current everyday price for the B2. Good luck on getting a C1.

The 2022 b2 scores as good or better than the 2021 c1. Unless you need the four hdmi 2.1 ports, which most do not.


I ordered the b2, along with some other stuff, to get the $500 back on $3k at costco. Plus it includes the $100 streaming credit. That seems like a decent deal to me to have it delievered by costco and not some random freight company, and get the extra warranty and 4% back.

As a heads up, this doesn't apply to image processing and tone mapping for things like HDR. Regardless of generation, LG uses their alpha 7 on B series and alpha 9 on C series. The argument would be is alpha 7 Gen 5 (B2) better than alpha 9 gen 4 (C1)

Which in theory applies to low bit rate content or gradation. From my experience, very minimal difference and definitely toning drastic.

C series is better, but B series is great as well.

Definitely get the C or G because of all 4 hdmi 2.1 if you're doing gaming, if only movie watching or one console then B series is excellent.

I own a B and C series X models

I purchased squaretrade insurance from the site I bought the tv from but I just registered my plan and noticed that TV's aren't covered from accidental damage by them. Does anyone know a insurance provider that does cover accidental damage? Thanks

Do the B series have only 1 hdmi 2.1 and 3 hdmi 2.0 whereas the C have 4 hdmi 2.1?

Edit. Looked it up on the rtings link above comparing them and B series actually has 2 hdmi 2.1 inputs, inputs 3 and 4
