It might help us to know what benchmark program you are using and post link to program and post screen shot of results of the test. Many of us in other threads did post our Benchmarks like this below. (so you get an idea of what I'm talking about).https://www.userbenchma
Also, I downloaded the passmark software from cpubenchmark and I'll post pics of the results for this pc (6444 cpu mark from my test) versus an 8 yr old pc I built with an i3-6100 (4335 cpu mark from my test) that I was planning on replacing with this..I thought this new cpu would kill mine. Now, the reason I do buy these ACER refurbs is because the tech level is much NEWER than my much older processors, plus newer ports, and tons of added features, and it gets NEW windows 10/11 OS that is able to legit upgrade to windows 11. Also, DDR4 memory, compared to my older hp 8300 towers that were ddr3. All types of stuff is packed in the new chips. If you browse through Acer threads, you will get idea of tests that others did, and compare them.
Also the intel graphics is much newer on this pc than many year old PC.
Relax into it. Use the pc and compare it to your older pc. I love my i3-10th gen and I have used it since beginning of july 2022. Of course, we all use our PC's a little differently, ... how is it working for you.
p.s. Maybe post your USERBENCHMARK test of both your new PC and your old PC, so we can see the comparision. You did take snapshot, but only a part of the page. Use the webpage link of the tests, so it will look like my USERBENCHMARK test.

The only parameter where this acer beats mine is cpu, but not by as much as I was lead to believe. The cpubenchmark site gives this new i3 a score of around 8770. My tests using their software showed 6444. My 8 yr old i3's score is 4335, which is closer to that websites estimate of 4152. I think that's a 50% increase for the newer chip. I guess I expected more. Like a doubling of performance. I wonder if there's something going on that bringing this new i3's performance down. Check out the cpubanchmark site. Their test is free. Post your userbenchmark on both your pc's.
I still think you might be over thinking this. Use your new PC doing the same type stuff you do on your older PC, maybe watch 4k ultra youtube videos, and watch movies, etc.
It does sound like you are bummed out about your NEW PC. You were expecting much better "scores". For 200 dollars, it is newer pc with newer features, ... how much did you old i3 cost when you bought it?
Actually, use the PC , then if you don't like it return it within 30 days. Those test are comparing this PC to the top of the line, SUPER HIGH END PC's with 2,000 dollar graphic cards, ...etc. You bought a 200 dollar PC with i3-10th gen processor, with all the other goodies. This is NOT a gaming machine! This PC scores great for average run of the mill uses. I have a couple of NEW xbox's I bought a few months back for gaming. And this PC works great for internet, email, movie watching, etc.
In either case, maybe you need to get a much better, more expensive PC. The only Question is ... does it do stuff faster and better than your old PC at a good price. How much was your old PC on the day you bought it.
p.s. You stated you did a clean install from usb stick , right. Did you update all the drivers, and bios, and other stuff, ... if NOT ... your score would suck. I'm on windows 11, and I had to get a ton of updates and make sure all drivers, etc, are current. It makes a difference. Then relax with your PC, and have a little fun on it. What size screen are you using, I'm on 50 inch QLED 4k, and have hdmi switch to 65 inch 4k in other room, both using this PC and stuff looks great.

Did Acer tell you it's hdmi 1.4? you could be right, but can you supply something from Acer confirming that?
I'm not an videophile, looks good to me. I have fire cube 2nd gen and 4k max, ... looks good to me. Beats 480i tv I used to watch as kid.
I do have Xbox series S that does 4k 60f , so I can watch on that too. My 4k hdtv's have Fire OS and Roku OS on them, and stuff looks good to me.
... this 169 dollar PC is not cutting edge ... but movies and stuff looks good to me. I'm easy.
p.s. I should add that Youtube does 8k too and lists it at 4320p60 8k.
