This is worth the extra $30 compared to the larger, heavier, less powerful Ridgid 1/2" impact for $139 that has the standard bat, not a Max bat like this deal.
Paired it with a stubby, M12 or Dewalt Atomic, both have the highest torque in stubby category, that's perfect combo impact wrenches.
I got this one too. I'd like to get another one that's easier to handle and good for small jobs. You talk about a 'stubby'. Is this a Ridgid impact you're talking about? Care to share the model #? I'm curious.

Hi I am referring to DeWalt DCF921 and Milwaukee M12 FUEL. I found them to be very powerful and balanced small size. I also have the 3/8" Subcompact Ridgid impact wrench, which I like a lot. DCF921 > M12 > subcompact power wise. I buy tools when there are super deals so I own a lot brands, but I am mainly on Ridgid for LFA and M12 for the compact size.

Thanks.. I think I'll get the 3/8 Ridgid subcompact when it goes on sale (and the 1/4 subcompact too). I think I'll stay with Ridgid as I'm already in their ecosystem and really like the LSA protection.

Inflator is decent but a bit loud. I got the subcompact+inflator+light deal last year. Keep an eye on that. Also direct tools outlet have blemished Ridgid which is also qualified for LSA. I bet you already know it, just typing for others reference.

Choose a free gift, total price will be divided into 2 items. The high torque will be priced same as this impact wrench. Return the other gift item for refund of that part.

Forgot to mention, these are 'factory blemished'. Most people say they're like new and come in retail packaging (I haven't bought anything from them yet).

Keep in mind, if you buy one of these Ridgid cordless power tools from Home Depot you can register and get a lifetime replacement warranty for the batteries, chargers and the tool for free. If you buy one from anywhere else you don't get that.
I JUST purchased the larger brother to this set, the one with 1300 ft./lbs. Breakaway Torque with 900 ft./lbs. Fastening Torque for $199 a month ago online with free next day home delivery. Right after I ordered it, the price jumped back up to over $300. It is now down to $269, so the price is all over the place. I found out that it is not Home Depot themselves but rather a "vendor" that is allowed to sell under their name and I was still allowed to register for the lifetime warranty. I would keep an eye on that site and eventually the price will drop back down on the big one again. It was some kind of short duration sale because when I found it, it was showing "Price ending in 5 minutes 28 seconds" or whatever and was counting down to midnight. I barely got it.

This 1/2" and a 3/8" sub compact is an excellent combination. The larger Hi Impact that has been mentioned is over kill for most. And the Ridgid inflator rocks! It is 2 times faster then the best Ryobi I verified the PSI readout and its always the same as my expensive PSI gauge. And the ability to set the desired pressure works perfect and makes it easy.

The description says "4.0 Ah Battery" but the pictures show a 4.0 Ah Max Output Battery.
Can anyone confirm if the batter is Max Output or not?
Some review pics show it with Max bat. Others do not. Some HD reviews can be "tool only" reviews mixed with "tool and bat review". Max bat or not, $149 is a very god price.

Unfortunately, there's $14.99 shipping... Some other items that you can add on to help justify the cost of shipping:
RIDGID 18V 340 Lumen Torch Light $10.99 [directtoolsoutlet.com]
RIDGID 18V Dual Chemistry Rapid Charger $19.99 [directtoolsoutlet.com]
