Can someone tell me if the screen display is bright and vibrant? I have bought many motorola phones and most of their displays are noticeably dimmer than other brands.
I'm waiting for the Edge + deal
This one has an old chip
Edge + comes with Android 12 so should be good to Android 14 updates.
I bought the Edge+ over the summer when my Note20 Utlra BSOD'd out of nowhere. While I don't think it's on the level of the flagship Iphones or Samsungs, I did like it. I paid $475 for it at the time from Woot (Amazon owns it now). It was snappy and had a 512GB hard drive. No SD card slot so the 512 was nice. I don't game on phones but I guess the Edge+ is great if you do. The shake to turn the flashlight on and off is something I absolutely love.
Incredibly my Note20 Ultra came back to life about 2 months after it BSOD'd so I passed the Edge+ off to my nephew. I'm still perplexed by the Sammy coming out of a coma on it's own. I had read online that it happens, but still am dumbfounded as to how that happens.
Any reason to get this over the OnePlus 9 5G (assuming we see the $300 sale price again soon)?
I've come from a long history of using moto phone. Just got oneplus 8t+ and I miss the reliable moto. I'd pick this over oneplus if I could choose now.

For $300, Snapdragon 700 series and android 11 are unfortunately not very impressive. Should have a $200 price tag max with those specs.
$250 is more tempting but would not be enough for me to bite.

Moto was one of the few offering expandable storage. Moto decided not to offer that on this phone. No reason to pick over one plus
