Having said that, these inverter generators only run as fast as they need to in order to meet the power needs you are drawing, They automatically rev up or down as power draw requires (If you put them in eco mode), so this is probably the best bang for the buck generator atm and I'd give it a thumbs up for this use, as you can also run more than just your pump off it.
This can be a backup generator for all your needs more than just the pump alone.
This is the best deal I have seen for an enclosed (meaning relatively quiet ) inverter generator of this size in the last couple years,
I wish it had electric and remote start though, then I'd get one too..

Chrome browser on windows 10.
Where specifically is the thing you click that says filter on the page you see?
Nevermind, found I had to scroll past top reviews, click on show all reviews, scroll past top positive review and top critical review, then click "all formats" (This is not obvious) then under all formats it gives the option of only show this model.
They don't make it easy.
Only 7 reviews show specifically for this model and 6 of 7 are bad reviews, but they must have sold way more than 7 units so what's the deal?
This is listed with the amazon's choice label,.I assume meaning they must have sold many units, but there are very very few reviews?
Seems like I'm still not seeing all I should see.
If I type in 3700 in the search bar there are zero results, so something is still missing among these reviews.
