The youtuber, Project Farm, tested ryobi bits and they didn't perform that well. Dewalt is a good value and decent quality however. I also think some Makitas and some Milwaukees bits are good, just depends on which style you get.

The Ryobi brand impact wrench works great but the few bits that came with them wore out so quick. Replaced with DeWalt bits and no problems since.

Hard disagree. I have this same set from a while back and it's been heavily used. I've broken maybe 1 standard #2 and have lost a few. The only thing that has really broken is the case hinge.

Yeah, a snapped a couple and immediately wore down one. Got some Milwaukee bits and it's all good.

Take a look at the reviews on HD's own site and it's obvious the overall rating is manipulated. You can't get a 4.6 product rating when half of the reviews are negative.

Ordered this and a set of Ryobi titanium coated drill bits that are $15.

I had noticed my Ryobi bits wear down quickly, but just thought that's what happens. Maybe I haven't had quality bits. Any suggestions on quality bits at a good price? I saw DeWalt and Milwaukee were mentioned.

The main point of bits are to replace ones that are worn down and use the right one. that should stop most of the casual striping of bolts. the main of these bundles is to get useful pieces. This one covers a wide range and are impact rated.

With that being said You have to start somewhere. these ryobis not that bad for diy casual use. the Milwaukee ones are kinda junk too and come with hella redundant ones. why i only buy them on sale around this time.

Just dont go any lower like the harbor frieght/ walmart hyper tuff 500 all in one bit sit and deodorant and body wash. those bits will be trash after 1 use.

I bought a similar Ryobi impact set a couple of years ago. It was a good deal, but the bits seemed to wear out quickly. Since then I've tried Bosch, Makita Gold, and a Dewalt set. Bosch was about the same as Ryobi. Makita and Dewalt seem to grip the screws better (the tiny fine lines at the tip make a difference) and last longer before wearing out. I don't think the Ryobis are junk, but if you can score a deal on Makita or Dewalt, that's the way to go. No experience with Milwaukee.
