Just got this card glad I can get something for rent without incurring fees, 1% isn't much but rent is so it equates to an AA flight a year.
one annoyance is it does not integrate with plaid (yet?) so if you use something like rocket money, personal capital or nerd wallet no way to add it there.
how long did it take for you to get card from the time you applied?
Been using it since June. Already have over 35k points just from rent. And travel is 1.25 per point when booked using their site. I should get 60k points per year just from rent which doesn't cost extra to pay using the card.
There was a post on here about 2 weeks ago alerting everyone to look for fraudulent purchases on their BILT Card from "Marion Parke" and "dhgate.com."
Woke up this morning to a slew of charges on my BILT Card from Wayfair.com and Cashstar @ Starbucks.
Luckily I have notifications enabled so I caught these immediately. Called in, reported the charges, WF closed the account and reissued my card. I will have a new one in about 7 days.
No idea how my card was compromised. It is sock drawered, and has 5 recurring charges per month on it from the following merchants:
Microsoft x2, Experian, Napster, + Apartment's rent portal.
I just wanted to send out a PSA to the BILT Card holders on this subreddit to check their cards.

I pay my rent online through RentCafe. If I use a credit card they will charge $5 Service Fee. It says the service fee covers bank, payment agent, and processing network fees to ensure the safety and security of your transaction.
If I apply for this card and get approved - will they also charge the $5 service fee. Please let me know if anyone used the card through online payment.
I use rent cafe too. Bilt gives you a virtual checking account with routing and account numbers that you just add as a rent cafe payment method. Rent cafe validates account with small deposit, Bilt emails you that amount, and you go back to rent cafe and plug that in for final verification. Takes one day.

Thank for the confirmation. I will go ahead apply for it.
Got the card on Fri and made a few transactions today. Card was declined for 4th transaction. All the previous transactions were made at different location within the hour. Tried for a new transaction and got declined.
Got no message from Bilt for the reason.
All 3 are showing as pending transactions as expected.
Will try after a few days to complete the 5 transaction limit.
Could you setup your mortgage to be paid through a sole proprietorship LLC and simply have the payments go to the LLC which you own? Tax benefits would pass through to you and the LLC pays the mortgage directly. You get the points, Bilt sends the check to the LLC. What am I missing?
Completed my first rent payment few weeks ago; App easily showed points received for payment. TIP: if you set autopay on an online portal: schedule payment 7-8 days in advance of due date to give proper time for processing to avoid late payments (which I've read some people had experienced). Can't speak on behalf of using Paypal, venmo, or physical check options.
Was offered 5x points on 1st 5 days (not including rent) after the physical card is delivered.

😂 Napster? That's probably why it's compromised
One of the biggest payments I have every month and I don't get anything back for it. I'll take even a fraction of a percent of someone offered it

Approved for $7500 credit line. I just added to my rental portal, let see if it works.
