So this is WILD. I called Best Buy and was told they aren't price matching. Then I called Best Buy again, gave the sku, told them it was the iPad Pro 2021 128GB and staples had it for $599.. she tells me "The SKU you gave me is $599" I refreshed on the Best Buy site, still shows $699 so she helped me to process the purchase at $599

How weird.

Got price matched on Bestbuy 2nd try online chat. Not sure if that's helpful but claim the local staples in your area has the iPad in stock so the magic. Never harm to try. Good luck to everyone!

Went through on first try at BB. I had to explain that Staples Connect is just a page shows weekly ad and manager tried on his phone and honored the sale price.

Either just show the weekly ads that has the iPad or click the iPad on the ads and it has its own page but won't has its own link, still the weekly ads link.

I bought an M2 iPad Pro and I feel like there's no real difference between it and my 2018 iPad Pro. The only thing I notice is that it has more ram so more apps stay in memory, which is nice but so does the M1 iPad pro. If I didn't get my M2 iPad Pro discounted through a friend I would have just gotten the M1 iPad Pro for $600. It's a fantastic device at that price. I'm just really disappointed that some stuff that I thought would better with the M2 isn't better, like skipping forward/backward 4k videos in YouTube are still not as smooth as they should be, so it's probably the YouTube apps fault. There's basically no difference between this thing and the M2 iPad Pro. The WiFi 6E is not a factor and the hover thing doesn't matter unless you're an artist. I was hoping they would add mini-LED or OLED screens this year but they unfortunately didn't.

Called 3 Staples in Boston area and none had any iPads in stock. Got price matched online at Best Buy on the third try through chat. Just have to keep trying!

Tried BB chat on first day of deal and was told they don't pm Staples.

Tried BB store today and was fortunate to get a manager to approve the last stock they had. Apparently, others had already tried to match this deal there earlier in the week but were told they couldn't pm since BB thought it was a BF deal. I explained that this was just a normal weekly ad that didn't mention BF anywhere, so the manager okayed the pm.

Tbh I wanted 256GB or larger, but this price was too good to pass on. Upgrading from a first gen Air.

I would suggest chatting with Best Buy first thing in the morning. I initiated a chat at the start of business hours this morning and got a price match instantly. Also for the people with staples stores nearby, check the item listing directly even if it says out of stock. The listing shows my local store might get new stock tomorrow.

Best Buy has staples.com not listed in their pm competitors, target lists staples.com in theirs is why I had success online with target . In person I imagine if a staples is a local competitor they would price match.
