This looks more compact than the Hart. They both spray pretty far back from where the suction comes from, which a reviewer noted keeps you from being able to spray up against a wall or something. Suction is reported to be strong for both. Looks like the Hart has a much larger solution tank, if that matters to you, and also has more tank capacity for suctioned water.

Not if you're a pet owner. I have a dog and if I visit my mom out of town and stay overnight for instance, I always make sure to bring my portable spot cleaner with me in case my dog has an accident on her carpet/rug. Most people without pet/kids don't have a carpet cleaner in their house.

How is this compared to the Hart spot cleaner that is on sale?

I'm wondering the same. They're likely manufactured by the same company.

They really need to do shipping again like they did over the summer. Maybe over the holidays?

Looks like the hart cleaner has an auto hose cleaner function. This doesn't.

Just got the hart delivered... haven't used it yet. Saw this and had the same questions as everyone else. I appreciate yalls info. Might just keep the hart since I have it and doesn't seem too much better/worse.

Just my opinion but if you feel you need a carpet cleaner, just buy a full size one with the hose attachments. It should be more powerful and you can clean all of your carpet with it.
Exactly what I was thinking, but I also already have a regular carpet cleaner, so maybe I'm just used to it.
Maybe this is good for those with only a little bit of carpet or those who rarely get their carpet stained and want to save space and they just rent the big machine from the store once a year to clean their carpets.

Comparing to two, it's worse imo but depends on the person. The only reason you'd want this one is due to its smaller size. But that's where it ends. This one has an 8oz solution tank / 11oz waste tanks vs Hart's dual 51oz. Hart also has an integrated hose cleaning port, while this one does not. Anyone who used these machines before know how valuable the hose cleaning port is. Both have a 2-year warranty.

Hart being $10 cheaper on top of it makes it a clear winner.

I have a regular/full carpet cleaner. The issue I have is cleaning the carpet on the stairs. The hose reaches half way up/down the stairs so that works. Only issue is the base still runs so the brushes still spin and water still comes out a little from the base. Spot cleaner would be ok for stairs but have to constantly refill/empty the tank.

Wish there was a big tank spot cleaner
