Unless Google shopping search is hiding results, NO 3070 of any brand is lower price than this. In this economy, being IN STOCK and ABLE to be purchased is the first question.

For the last several years, video cards have been selling far higher than MSRP. Lots of reasons why before the current recession and inflation began ravaging my financial situation.

For anyone who thumbs down this deal, please provide a link to a 3070 that is in stock and able to be purchased that is close to this price. I couldn't find one. I am NOT being sarcastic. As they say in the old country, put up or shut up.

There's plenty of better Radeon cards in stock.... The 3070 isn't the only GPU to ever have existed

In this economy... You say? Well in this economy we are in a recession. Demand for electronic goods are down. Chip shortage is mostly recovered. Mining is dead. Nvidia is sitting on a stockpile of chips they can't get rid of.

Ever notice right after to the 4090 was released, prices shot back up? We were seeing 3080 Tis in the low 700s. Not anymore. Did demand magically increase overnight? Maybe but only because Nvidia is manipulating the price so much.

Nvidia controlling prices is the only reason why the card is being sold at this high. Period. Look at inflation for household electronic goods. It's actually FALLING.

Huang has been on record saying he plans to keep the 3000 series concurrent with 4000 series. Why would that be? It's because they can't get rid of the 3 series chips. But by price anchoring the 4090 and 4080 so high it makes the 3 series look affordable in comparison.

I could go on and on. EVGA dropping Nvidia for good, them unlaunching the 4080 12GB. There is so much smoke its asinine to chalk up all of these to just "economic factors" which ironically should be driving prices down not up.

Anyways this is a bad deal not because it's the cheapest available. It's a bad deal because with everything going on (this card is over 2 years old) there is no reason why it should be priced this high. The 6600 XT is being sold at 250. The 6700XT at 350-360. There is absolutely no logical reason why this card is over 100 dollars and 200+ more than a 6700 XT 6600 XT respectively even if you take into account of DLSS and RT.
