Could be considering "co mingling funds" come tax time if you can justify the points earned through business weren't used for business related expenses. Just fyi. Irs got a big boost in employees this year and they are going to need to pay those salaries through audits.
..what?
Credit card reward points from spending (or sign ups requiring spending) are not income, and not reported to the IRS. At all.
The Chase agent told me I can't connect my personal accounts and business account (e.g. link dashboards). Anyone successfully do so? What's the trick? The website says I need to call to make it happen.
One of the small print says you shouldn't be using the card for personal use. Do you guys have $ 6000 business expenditures in 3 months to get the points? I own 2 rental properties and rent them through property management company. I can pay them in advance for the fee.. may be… right?
I signed up for this card back in Sept where it was 750 CB when spending 7500. Can I upgrade to this promo?
I called and asked. They said they'll honor the better offer. They put a note on my account that says I need to call back after I spend the $6000. I'm getting close... I'll report back to the group if I have any issues.

stop spreading lies- the irs hiring takes place over like the next 10 years. no way they would instantly hire 20,000 auditors! on top of that the current administration said they are going after the top 1% not your $80k a year making slickdealer!

Yeah its stupid. Got to make a separate account for business and personal. Not sure why but it's really annoying

I'm not sure they have any way of determining a personal vs. business expense. Someone buying groceries could be doing so for supplies for a catering business. Someone may be buying toys might be doing it for a Ebay collectible business. Someone may pay property taxes or buy a new roof on a rental property. I doubt Chase is going to get into the weeds on that, but you never know. My other Chase Business Card… Southwest… not one issue or question this past year.

I just called as well and they'll honor the $900 contingent on me spending the original promo (of $7.5k).
