Kit includes two 5.0 batteries and the newest generation impact driver and hammer drill along with a hard case and charger. Ordered the bonus tool as the fuel grinder since it had the most value, and knocked off the most with the hack. Got refunded $141 after tax which made the kit $282 after tax. Contacted support over the phone and did a partial refund with no problem.

Can you get both items delivered to home and then return just one of the items at a store? Been a while since I've done one of these and want to make sure doing it that way still does works.

Grinder is returned, he didn't keep it.
For his work, he saved 33% off 399$, 132$… and paid 267$ for the drill/driver/battery/charger kit.

That's how the deal works.
(Still in no way a hack… you're just returning an item, for a clearly noted value on the receipt.)

Looks decent. I have the gen 3 so I looked into the specs on this gen 4. Such neglible improvement I will hold off for now

If you are a reseller you can apply for a resellers permit for your state and then register that with Home Depot.I think you'll have to start filing quarterly sales tax after that.

Just picked up my Milwaukee drills and the number on the box is 3697-22. You have 2997 in the title. Is there a difference? TIA

The 2997-22 is the prior generation model (Gen 3).
