    Hope it comes with plug covers when not using all the plugs. The first pic shows not having the covers, but the other pics show a different cord with covers. The description does mention having the covers. This is important because you don't want a fire or electrical hazard with water getting into an unused plug.

    Looking at the questions and answers, one consumer mentioned that these are not water proof and there is a warning on the product. Others mentioned wrapping the outlets with silicone tape which they said work in preventing a short. So it doesn't look like it comes with covers.

    yes it is safe.but in wet conditions you want to keep the plugs off the ground from rain flood and have it plugged to an gcfi outlet at best. especially also if you plan to use the multiple outlets for the stationary flood lights, uv blacklights for halloween every year. never know water gets in and could make for a dangerous environment to walk through after the rain.
