It's $80 at Amazon. Price mistake most likely.
How is it a downgrade?
For now (coming soon via firmware/software update, no timeline provided) calls, text, google maps/wallet
For people who want only health-related sensors, this is an excellent upgrade at $80. By no means is this a $200 watch, though.
The $80 deal seems to have been around for brief window and was limited to 1 per account. The current $200 price is also limited to 1 per account, so not sure if the $80 was intentional or a mice pristake. Water under the bridge, though, since it's back to $200 now.

"mice pristake" 😆

1) No Google Assistant. The original allowed you to choose between Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, this one just gives you Amazon Alexa. While Alexa should work for a lot of things, if you've gone in on the Google ecosystem, this can hurt.
2) No Wi-Fi. The original allowed you to use Wi-Fi, so if you weren't close enough to your phone, it could still communicate with it and really sped up updates. This is nowhere to be found on this one, though rumors say it is still in the watch, just no way of activating it.
3) No 3rd party apps. You used to be able to download apps on the watch like Deezer, Spotify, or C25K, not any more. You are stuck with a handful of stock apps.
4) You can no longer control your phone's currently playing from the watch.
5) No on wrist Bluetooth calling. The original Sense allowed you to take phone calls through your watch. The Sense 2 does not even though it has a mic, speaker, and Bluetooth.
6) No Google Wallet or Google Apps (supposedly this is the only feature coming soon) even though Google owns Fitbit.
7) No snore detection. This is a Fitbit premium feature supported by then Sense, but is no longer supported by the Sense 2. Even worse, once you "upgrade" your Sense to the Sense 2, your previous snore reports disappear.
