One interesting feature included in the two-prong designs is a second outlet (so that the outlet adapter is also a splitter / current tap). The usefulness of that will depend a lot upon your needs and the ability of the associated plug to accommodate the extra devices. I've almost always used short extension cords as the outlets are rarely strong enough for a bunch of charging bricks hanging off a travel adapter.
Good luck!

One major exception to this is hair dryers - DONT bring your american high wattage devices to foreign countries unless it is dual voltage and/or you know the voltage & frequency are compatible with American grid.

Checking any devices before you travel is certainly still good advice (better safe than sorry) ,but these days even the cheapest commodity electronics tend to integrate support for global voltage. And if you're still dragging around an old razor, etc. that doesn't you're potentially better served by replacing that particular device.
Good luck!

You cannot use the USA version in Europe, even with a converter.

An E/F plug will not fit in a C outlet. Is that correct?
There are plenty of plugs which call themselves E/F but which are really just glorified C plugs.
Good luck!
