The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive the statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. I'm not saying this card doesn't have value, but that is NOT the break point. If you ONLY spend $2000 on groceries, you'd be better off with the regular blue cash everyday giving you 3% back (e.g., $60 back). The preferred will get you an ADDITIONAL $60 back but it will cost you $95, that's not efficient.

However the item dropped in price and Besbuy refunded me $35.
Now the net purchase on Amex is $250 - $35 = $215.
I still have the $25 credit from Amex. Will they claw it back? Is there anything I can do, so that they don't take it back. Do I need to make another purchase?

Thank you. That's what I thought. I'm guessing multiple purchase count in the promo? So as long as I make another purchase before the deal end date, I should be good?
