DON'T buy from mint - best buy has the same deal and you can activate past 45 days but mint is really strict about the activation expiring after 45. You've been warned.

I am going to buy two 3 months plan. One for me and one for wife. Total after fees is about $103.50. $45 back from Amex. Total would be about $60. This is for 4gb plan for 6 months for two. Total monthly cost about $5 for each of us. No mvno can beat that at the moment. Awesome!

Thinking of refer a friend to mint, so if she buys 3 momth unlimited plan, she gets 6 month unlimited+$15 credit, and I get $90 referral credit? Does my friend need to port in a number?

This turned out to be a bait and switch. Looks like I'm going to have to do a chargeback. I bought 3 months of unlimited got everything set up today and I only have 3 months on my account not 6. Bought directly from their website. I chatted them and they said that the buy three get three was only for port in and that I would not get the three additional months since I'm not porting in and I'm just a new customer with new number. Epic fail Ryan. Epic fail.

The website just shows it as a normal purchase at a normal price. No promotion anywhere to be found on the site. How will I know if this is actually going to work instead of just getting the regular unlimited at 30 a month (no additional free months)

I've no idea about esim. Two weeks ago, I had bought bestbuy physical sim so I've use pSIM to activate. Once activated, I decided to use physical sim slot for different service provider. So converted mint to esim

I had it in two cards and only one email came. The 2nd card email never arrived but I see both card's offer used and credit pending

This is an excellent recommendation. This is an often-advertised deal. I bought couple of years ago for full family (4 lines) from BB and have since repurchased annual plan twice directly from Mint for all four lines. Mint is a really good value when re-purchased annually. Service works really good in suburbia but we have found lackluster cell service in rural locations (northern Michigan) and near dead service operation in urban locations (downtown Detroit and others). When in urban, our cell service is degraded to point of no internet connection, no ability to send or receive texts, and calls may or may not go thru. I may look for alternative going into next annual cycle.
