They were bought by a Chinese company a while back and apparently customer service has taken a hit. Gamers Nexus has an interesting YouTube video about Newegg scamming them.

Nope. Max out at 120hz since it's HDMI 2.0.

Thanks OP! Great price for 32" 4K 144Hz. A good stop gap until OLED hits sub $1k.

Can this go in portrait or landscape mode? So if I buy two, I can have one in landscape and one in portrait for my setup?

This is really tempting, but I'm holding out for a deal on a 32" 4k OLED monitor
I got a 48" LG C1 Oled for $303. Some good deals out there

Newegg @ eBay has $25 discount (might be from the Capital One Shopping extension to bring it down to $524.99.

Yes, it will work. I have the non AE edition and it worked well with my M1 Macbook Pro using USB-C / DP 1.4 Alt Mode.

The Intel version, however, has an issue with this monitor as Apple broke Display Stream Compression a while ago in MacOS. Out of the box it will do 90hz. With a SwitchResX trick, it can do 120hz.

One thing to note with this monitor is that it only supplies 15W of power - not enough to charge a laptop over USB-C. (if you're thinking you want to hook it up that way)

I'm not sure, but I think the dimensions of this 32" are taller then 27". Just something to look into if you're thinking of a multi monitor setup

I can't justify this because there's no HDR and it'll just be much harder to drive than a 1440p 144hz monitor. Even a 3080 10gb struggles at 4k, and there's no point in getting such a high resolution if you're not jacking up details

Really trying my best not to hit that buy button

I've always felt that even 27" for a 4K monitor seemed a bit big for displaying macOS elements at native retina resolution (basically 1080p). Would you guys say that 32" is a good size for your uses? Because I'm afraid it's simply too large for me and so I'm waiting for the m28u to go down to $479 or so during Black Friday.
