Fender Play is giving a free Squier Starter Pack with annual subscription. I just grabbed one. Immediately after placing the order I got the redeem link in email.
This is the non tremolo model and looking at previous recent history of slickdeals it went for ~$125.
Note:
They applied tax on the 149.99 during final checkout which is unusual for subscriptions fees generally but I guess since they are selling the guitar (product) they need to charge/report tax.
You can pay through paypal using a card which is offering 5% back on paypal like currently chase freedom flex.
They enable auto-renew so remember to cancel it unless you want to keep the subscription. Ideally after getting the guitar
This seems like a good deal. Any stats on the guitar? Just standard squire strat or is it downgraded somehow? Anyone played that amp?
It's the equivalent of a bullet strat although it may not say bullet on the headstock. Amp is a no frills cheapest amp fender makes. The drive channel leaves a lot to be desired if you like hard rock or metal, but it's perfectly acceptable for a beginner. It has line in as well as headphone out.
I'm not seeing the offer. I already have a Fender.com login. Is this for brand new peep?

This seems like a good deal. Any stats on the guitar? Just standard squire strat or is it downgraded somehow? Anyone played that amp?
The guitar itself is solid starter guitar but that amp is absolute garbage. That would be first 'upgrade' if you decide you're liking guitar. A decent amount that can serve you for many years could be found for $100-200 (or less used). I personally recommend the boss Katana 50/100 series, solid platform with a lot of range.
