"I would like to inform you that OnePlus 9 Unlocked devices come with globally unified and unlocked device from the factory itself. It will support all carrier bands.
And OnePlus 9 T-Mobile Unlock is carrier locked device. And due to website error it is mentioned as T-Mobile Unlock. However, it is carrier locked device.
LE2115 is North America unlock variant device and LE2117 is T-Mobile."
So I definitely want Unlocked (LE2115). Although this T-Mobile version might work for me now since I am on Mint (T-Mobile MVNO), I want to have the flexibility to use the phone on other carriers, e.g., when I travel overseas.
Edit: someone asked if I have a screen protector. I do not. I had also spent some time troubleshooting it, full wipe, set up as new no backup restored, clearing data, turning off vibration, a different keyboard, etc etc. Issue persisted. I sort of wanted to stick with it but I can't deal with typing issues.

FYI this T-mobile version cannot be unlocked out of the box. I bought one last week and cannot request unlock from T-mobile, kept saying "Unlock Failed Not Eligible for Unlock." Will be sending it back
T-mobile says you need 45 days of paid service on it.
BB is offering $40.
After purchase I received $250 coupon may be use during TG for another phone

$400 +$30 tax
Less $80 trade-in for 8 5g
Less $200 trade in bonus to be refunded after sending in trade-in.
Card got charged for $350, device to be delivered 11/14.
Hopefully One+ doesn't mess up trade-in bonus.
Any idea if the TMobile unlocked can be used with other carriers out of box or do I have to request an Unlock code?
