I chatted with OnePlus support online.

"I would like to inform you that OnePlus 9 Unlocked devices come with globally unified and unlocked device from the factory itself. It will support all carrier bands.
And OnePlus 9 T-Mobile Unlock is carrier locked device. And due to website error it is mentioned as T-Mobile Unlock. However, it is carrier locked device.
LE2115 is North America unlock variant device and LE2117 is T-Mobile."

So I definitely want Unlocked (LE2115). Although this T-Mobile version might work for me now since I am on Mint (T-Mobile MVNO), I want to have the flexibility to use the phone on other carriers, e.g., when I travel overseas.

Am I the only one that has terrible issues with typing on this phone? I used it for a while when I sent my Pixel 6 is for repair and it would miss letters constantly. I could not figure out why it would fail to register my typing.

Edit: someone asked if I have a screen protector. I do not. I had also spent some time troubleshooting it, full wipe, set up as new no backup restored, clearing data, turning off vibration, a different keyboard, etc etc. Issue persisted. I sort of wanted to stick with it but I can't deal with typing issues.

its real good deal, I traded OP8 5G final cost after the trade-in would be $142,

best part is you get $250 coupon for your next phone
Is it a credit for the next phone or you get a credit to the price you already paid for ?

I hope not! Also, from my experience last night, this isn't accurate. I was able to use the $50 credit trade in immediately. I really hope the $200 bonus isn't store credit and is credited to my card.

There's two options. If you took the instant partial credit the rest is awarded as voucher. If you want refund to credit card you pick the cash back option but there is no instant discount.

I have a pixel 4a and that's been my only complaint besides battery size I type something and 3 letters outa 5 are not there so annoying. I came from Motorola and have never experienced that on them I don't think I'm gonna stick with Google because they could do so much better in the phone game with their resources but yeah mine too.
No, I think you misunderstand. I'm saying the OnePlus is doing it. My Pixel 6 is 100% fine in this regard.

I'm kinda confused, let me rephrase
trade-in cost and $200 bonus is part of the current purchase but OP sent with $250 off coupon to use in the next purchase

Up to $250.00 OFF
Valid for all OnePlus smartphones

OMG, I don't have the 9 but I have the 7 pro and I feel like I am crazy missing letters constantly. Maybe it's not just me!
I had the 6 and the 8 and I did not experience those issues on those. My wife still uses the 8 and my friend uses the 6. No issues so maybe some exhibit it and some don't. Maybe it needs a display replacement.... Hmm

$50 was if you add a tmobile line. $150 was for T-Mobile without adding a line. Both required 40 days of use to unlock.
Which phone was that?

Buying S21 off of Amazon and doing the trade-in for $800 BestBuy credit and use that to buy S22+ is much better deal tbh.

I commented on my experience in another thread on the OP9: Picked it up for $150 from the BB deal a couple of months ago. It's fine more or less, but my biggest complaint so far is - speakerphone volume on cell calls is low and you can't hear it at all in a semi-noisy environment. On media, Viber/WhatsApp calls, etc. the volume is plenty high, so it's not a speaker problem at all. I found a couple of comments about this online but not any major amount of complaints, so I'm wondering if it's just mine that's defective? Does anyone else notice a large volume diff. between speakerphone cell calls and media (YouTube, etc) volume?

Can you show your Oneplus 9 T-mobile phone showing as unlocked? Because I bought this exact phone last week "T-mobile Unlock" version and could not get it unlocked. Requested through Settings as usual but came back as Unlock Failed. This device is not eligible for Unlock.

Oneplus CS didn't know jack shit so I had to return it
You should always chat with T-Mobile via twitter tforce I think! Fastestway to get any action mine was unlocked within hours was a Samsung though I would not think it matters if purchased outright!
