1. Instant pot inner pots are not non-stick, just stainless steel.
2. You're not going to find an oval version because of the nature of pressure cookers. If you need more area, you could get the 8 qt version.
3. The browning function is called saute on instant pots.

I think the Nature of a circle for turning a lid that locks in place is pretty important for a pressure cooker. A crock pot doesn't have to have a tight seal to work.
But if you wanted multiple external clamps to lock down, I bet you could make one oval.

Thanks for the find! I was hoping this would come back again. I was about ready to pull the trigger on the Walmart one, but $10 more for the slightly more functional pot + accessories seems like a no brainer.

Strange that this one does not have a steam mode yet comes with a steam rack?

Has anyone checked out the instant pot duo gourmet that's on sale at Costco ? Which one would be better ? Am a beginner and have never used one before so no idea which one to get. It's the same price.

The "saute" function does an excellent browning job.

Dot have one of these all in one pressure cookers yes and I am not buying one till they have
1) stainless steel insert, non non stick
2) oval not round for more surface area for browning
3)brown function

I still can't find one that meets all of these requirements so I will continue to just use my me cruset dutch oven all the time
Without it being able to meet all those requirements I still need to or rather use a separate pan for browning which kinda eliminates the purpose

Crockpot makes oval pressure cooker. There's no "nature" that prevents from making them any shape. Also, oval shape doesn't provide more surface, it's just different proportion.

Worth it for the sous vide functinality alone. I used to own the duo crisp and if it works the same then it's more than good enough for the casual sous vider

I don't believe that costco one is a pressure cooker.
