Just bought an S21 from Amazon for $300, got $800 trade-in on this phone and walked out with a gift card for around $50 and a brand new S22+.

Oh man. Samsung and Best Buy caught up on the trade ins. They lowered the S21s to only $600 in trade-in value.

Its a great deal. I do have a couple of questions.
1. Is this deal completely in-store basis? Buying of a new ph as well as trade-in?
2. What happens if I buy online and go for in store trade in? Is that an option?
3. How and when do I transfer my current ph data? Right in the store? So buy a new ph, open it, set it up, transfer the data?

Because it's in store only. You will get your trade in Value + a promotional value in a gift card along with a coupon that will reduce the price of the phone. I did this on Sunday for the S 22 Ultra and paid $300 pre tax for the phone.

It's an in-store only deal
You essentially trade in your s21 for a brand new unlocked s22 series phone.
Online store pick up - when I asked them, the guy was not sure how it would work because it was an in store buy promotion, he said you may be able to trade in now and wait for the order to ship to store and then pick up the new one but was not sure, i just went with the color that was available in store

On the setting up of new phone, i had to basically surrender they old phone, get the new one, do basic setup in store for the phone to work, came back home and completed the setup

pixel 6 trade in value so trash. only $300??

i traded mine in for a pixel 7 in hopes it'll be worth more when the S23 trade in values come out

What about all of the old phone data? They wouldn't do the transfer for you in store? That's the most important part to transfer everything to the new phone..

someone had posted a message in the other thread that BB will charge 45$ or so to do the transfer, I'm not sure.

I use my Google backup so I just came back home and set it up

It's in store only and yes you actually get the promo values. I got $800 trade in for my S21 and got a Z Flip4.

FWIW: My local Best Buy told me that only T-Mobile Magenta plans are eligible for this extra trade-in credit, for a minimum term of 24 months. I don't know about other providers.
