You won't get $1600 in BB GCs. You don't order online. You go into the store. If they don't have the phone you want, you can order it there to be shipped to the store or to you. You give them the trade in phones right then and there.

Hopefully this helps clear up some of the confusion.
  • This deal is a combination of two promotions running now
    1. $800 in store trade in value for an eligible device
    2. $250 off the UNLOCKED version of the S22+
  • The S22+ becomes free (256gb) or with a gift card of $50(128gb) when both promotions are combined.
  • If either or both of the promotion ends, then the math changes
  • You MUST order the new phone INSIDE THE STORE. You are allowed to ask the rep inside the store to order to be picked up at a later date or to be shipped if stock is unavailable.
  • The old phone MUST be traded in at the time of order inside the store regardless of whether the new phone is in stock or is being ordered for you.

Anyone with S21 or Plus, do not bother upgrading, it's a downgrade. Wait for S23.

Edit: People compare S21/S21+ and S22/S22+ to see what I mean. They downgraded some features as such I made that comment based on that for those who will have it for regular usage but if for upgrade than by all means.

I netted $80 out of this deal on 2 phones, plus I have the latest model ensuring me the highest TIV for the s23. So why exactly shouldn't I have done this?

Maybe it seems that way if you have to pay extra for the new one, here you're getting it with some extra back if you trade in previous model. If anything even as trade in newer model will be worth more that S21 once new line comes out so it would be stupid not to do so unless you have personal hate and grudge against S21 series.

Do you have to pay tax on full value? Or is it like car sales where you just pay tax on the net value? Its probably state dependent.
