The S21 to S22 launch trade offer was trash compared to the launch for S21. I traded in my S10 for a S21 and paid about 100 bucks out the door. In addition, I also got a free tablet, which I turned around and sold for $200. I also got smart tags, which I kept.

I have a s21 to trade in. When I trade it in, I get a coupon/credit (in my case $800) towards the purchase of a s22, correct? Can I then buy an open box s22 online and use the credit- and if so, what happens with my remainder credit? There is an open box phone Id like to grab but cant get there in person for a couple days. Wondering if this plan will work. Trade in person today, order tonight, and keep remainder credit (and with remainder credit- is that just a generic BB credit?)
