Thanks, SD people! Also, it worked like a charm (almost) at the Pentagon City VA location. The employee said I am a crazy man to get 800 for a used Galaxy S21 and refused to help me even though I had printed trade in terms. Then called his supervisor and finally, they figured out the situation looked like I was stealing something together. Ordered for home delivery.

This is the first time I've seen anyone say that in the 3 weeks I've been doing this deal. My thoughts are the same as yours, that the trade in promotion credit would only apply to phone purchases. I'm trading another phone later, I guess I could try and and just return the accessories if the credit doesn't apply. Unless someone else here was actually able to do it already.

Just to help you save a trip, unless you have a US driver's license or friend with one, BB will reject your trade in due to lack of valid ID. Canadian ID won't work per numerous RFD posts in the Pixel thread.

Scratch all that if you are paying full price. In store pick up is still OK with any ID.

Had to get manager approval. They said lots of people were coming in and trading in and reselling the new phone. They finally approved it. Traded in 21 and asked them to activate it in my TMobile line. Ended up walking out with a $200 gift card

This amazing deal and the previous Pixel 7 deal are the product of true capitalism. It used to be to get a deal like this you had to get bill credits over a period of years. Now cell phone manufacturers have seen a continuous drop in sales they have phones they can't get rid of :

Just went and traded in our two phones. S21 to S22+ and $41 gift card each. Luckily the employee knew exactly what he was doing and it was painless 15 minutes. Had another customer that was currently also doing the same deal ahead of us. He offered to do the activation method for our ATT lines for the extra $200 - $250 in credit each but after going through the process to check our accounts, he found they weren't eligible. It makes sense because I got the s21 phones by calling ATT customer service around July 2021 for $250 each on one of those old school 2 year subsidized deals so probably not eligible for an upgrade until July 2023. So the "activation" everyone is talking about maybe that old school "upgrade" which you can still get in round about ways like this or by calling customer service like I did for my S21. It does lock you in for 2 years on ATT though as far as I understand from when I did it before.

These motherfarkers are so undereducated and untrained seriously. They just straight up don't give a damn and refuse to learn what they should have known in the first place. This store-by-store shit needs to be straightened out.

I ordered phone which I got today s22+ from bb as local stores didn't has it. Planning to return and rebuild with trade in. Should i let them do trade in first before returning or doesn't matter? Hopefully they wouldn't give me hard time on it. I am concerned if I return and then higher trade in doesn't work and I have to go to other store

Looks like the $250 off is ending on Sunday. My S21 isn't coming in til Tuesday. If I I buy the s22+ online now to lock in the price, can I do the trade in when I pick it up?
