How to get 250 t-mobile activation discount ? Best buy rep says its only 100$ off. I'm not a t-mobile customer. Thinking of activating t-mobile and canceling after 1st month.

I'm trying to trade in S21. Please clarify

I chose not to wait because this makes me money, but if you miss it... there might be something "better" coming next.

Your S21 falls into the $800 (600+200) value that my Flip3 did. I don't know which exact phone model you're trying to apply the value towards (maybe it matters, not sure), but I suspect that upgrade vs new line might be a factor. I "upgraded" one of my Verizon lines for an instant $250 discount. The rep told me that it was only $200, same value for new line or upgrade TMO or VZW, when he looked at some black and white printout, but ultimately it "rang up" with the full $250 discount - no manual or manager overrides etc. Maybe try a different location?

Did the s21 trade today. Best Buy ordered the s22+ for me since they had none in stock. Got hit with a $45 restocking fee? Still came out with a $33 gift card though.

The restocking fee is only applied if you return a phone that has been opened. The thing that you sign when buying the phone is to inform you of that.
