you're getting S22 ultra for cost of S21 bought on ebay + difference of $200 + tax - Tmobile activation (I am guessing you have it) = ?? (anything wrong)

Right now the Ultra is on sale for $1,000. Assuming the $250 for upgrading a current phone still stands that should bring it down to $750. I should be getting $800 for the S21 than I'm trading in so that should be free at the end. We'll see.

So I bought several S21s last week and used them yesterday to upgrade my wife and her parents.

I got my wife and my FIL the S22+. My MIL, however, insisted on the S22. The BestBuy clerk kind of looked at her and was like, "Um, you realize the S22+ is the better phone, and we're paying you to buy it in this instance?" She persisted.

Anyway, wondering if I can do a price match since they dropped the price by $100 today. We have the receipt and the phone is unopened. I imagine we can, but am worried it's a bit more complicated since there was a trade-in involved. We also drove 30 miles away because none of the local BBs had the S22+ in stock. It would be great if we could do the price match at a local store, even though that's not where we bought the phone.

Does anybody have any experience with this? TIA!!!

Try to do a price match and see if they will do it. Do NOT do a return and rebuy no matter what they tell you.

Plus, a best buy gift card with a few dollars on it, right?

1. S22+ is not a better phone. Size matters to some people.
2. BB can't price match a discounted deal with trade-in. Someone mentioned the system will overwrite the coupon when the price match is entered.

...I probably should have said, "more expensive phone." My MIL has an S10e, and her primary complaint is the battery life. So the 22+ would have been the better choice for her, but what fun would life be if people consistently made rational choices?

Anyway, sounds like, in this case, we shouldn't waste our time. We saved over a grand on phones, so I am happy with that.

Thanks, all!

So a rep yesterday ordered the phone shipped to store this Thursday and told me I can do my trade with a return/rebuy and he will price match the $250 discount when I pick it up Thursday. Was that incorrect, do you think I will be forced to pay the extra $100 if I want the phone?

To anyone who got this deal, is Bestbuy charging tax on full retail price or discounted price before trade in or price after trade in ?

Looking to get s22 ultra by trading in my s20 fe
discounted price, because $600 of the 800 is a coupon, so most places don't pay taxes on that 600, but do pay on the other 200
