I have successfully used many Inland SSDs, but did actually have one 256GB SATA drive flake out, but not completely fail. Was always causing BSODs as a system drive. Despite the drive not being totally dead, and having to take my word for it regarding the flakiness, Microcenter let me exchange it in store for a new one without any hassle (I had the receipt, but this was over a year after purchase).

I've probably bought 6 Samsung Evos, 3 PNY CS900s, 1 Sandisk SSD Plus, 1 ADATA, and 1 of these Inland drives. I also have an old crucial and Intel SSD that came with used machines that both still work.
Has anyone ever had one of these Inland drives die on them? Inland is mainly known for having cheap and kinda crappy quality accessories.

But so far after the many Inlands I've bought none of them have died. *knock on wood*
These are great for enclosures. With no moving parts they are much less likely to fail due to frequent transportation like a mechanical drive.
I've had a similar drive in an enclosure for one of my RPis for years. Way faster than an SD card.
