Clearly trolling, but ... Venmo is a payment processor. Link with a credit card or bank to make payments. Link with a bank to withdraw Venmo funds. Can't pay with Venmo funds unless you invite Uncle Sam into your bed (thanks to new blue tax regs passed a short while ago).

People have stated that it doesn't work with trials. I assume that's for the one month FREE trial? How 'bout the $1.99 for a week offer. That's not a trial. That's a PAID subscription! Anybody try it? It would still net ~$8.

I couldn't add a debit card at that step, but I still got the email that I wasn't eligible to add a Venmo account to my Amazon account anyway... oh well.
