Best price I've seen on this. Only the physical copy appears to be on sale. Apologize for any listing errors, doing this from my phone.

Good deal. But because it's a physical copy, there is + ~10% tax in CA (no tax on digital).

Does it activate it when I purchase it or when I do it on the actual computer?

On the computer when you enter the code.

In for two. After MN tax it works out to $7.50/mo. Right now I'm paid for 5 more years at less than $8/mo, which is not outrageous. Codes were NOT case sensitive for me, and it takes about 5-10 minutes after activation to get an email from Adobe that it was applied to your account.

Any idea if this is expected to come back for black Friday?

Had it in my cart and assumed it was an "all month thing" like other BF sales, only for it to jump $40 in a few hours!

Just picked mine up, tax free (DE). Some notes for others who may have similar issues:

My current subscription expires May of 2023.

I went to redeem.adobe.com, signed in and entered the code. "Code not valid." Turns out that capitalization matters.

Once redeemed, it said my subscription now ends 11/8/23 (i.e., not stacking). I signed in to my account, and it still shows the current expiration date (5/23) there.

I then received an email with the correct 1-year date (5/24) and confirmed it with chat as well.

So Adobe's messaging sucks and is misleading, and I feel like I had this issue last time and may have even posted about it. But it should stack without further effort beyond redeeming the code to your existing account.
Similar last night, entered the code, said like subscription has begun but then looked at my account and the next charge date had not changed. (I'm up in March) then 15 minutes or so later got the confirmation email which said new expiration date was march 2024, checking my account confirmed that.

Same experience for me. Redeemed 3 codes, initially just accepted the codes and said I had a sub until 11/12/23 (so just a standard 1 year subscription) for each one. Took ~2.5 hours to get the emails from Adobe. Now showing that it extended my subscription by 3 years. Just posting so others don't panic when this happens to them.

Did the cashier activate your code at the time of purchase? If not, you will need to return to the store with your receipt and have it activated.
