1) One of the top 2.5" SSDs (probably barely 3rd behind 860 and 870 Evo)
2) Has DRAM
3) 5 year warranty
4) Primarily for older systems that cannot use NVMe or M.2
5) Fakes on Amazon? Maybe, but I've never met anyone who actually received a fake. Neither have I received one from my 3 purchases. You can always check with Crystal Disk Benchmark to verify it has the correct speeds.
saying this is a good price is like saying the 2TB at $170 is a good price.. i dunno.
waiting for the 2TB to drop to $112 again... now that's actually a deal

If you just need a solid, cheap boot drive, or basic fast storage, without having to shell out for 1TB, just to get a decent price, this is pretty good...
You're still looking at 9¢ per Gig for basic SATA speeds, but you're getting 98% the real world performance boost of going from HDD to the fastest NVMe storage for most user workloads.
Perfect for a budget build, family PC, or any other basic use workload.

I bought one of these from Best Buy at a higher price a few months ago and installed it in an older all-in-one to breathe a little longer life into the computer. Performs well. Much faster boot up and shut down times. For anyone with a conventional spinning disk hard drive and wishing to improve on a budget, an SSD is a no brainer.
Just yesterday I stopped by Microcenter and picked up their $20 512gb Inland SSD for an older desktop. Had I seen this, I might've spent a little more given the higher performance.
