Closeout on this TV
While it has been this new price before ..there are a LOT of open box units out there that can be had for as little as $447 with excellent condition being $520....YMMV
There are three " excellent " condition units in my market. I was tempted the other day for $520 and might have bit if I hadnt found a QN90a for $620 a couple of weeks ago
I would not pay $520 for any TCL R646 that didnt have the stand and remote.Excellent, per their description, means it has all the parts and accessories
Ask for the Tv to be downgraded to a lower level if it doesnt have all the accessories
I would ask for at least a 10% discount on
any condition open box unit purchased
I would suggest buying the Best Buy extended warranty on this TV. For open box models the price of the warranty is discounted accordingly
I would not be afraid to let them know I was planning on buying the extended warranty as a negotiating tool on the price of an open box unit

I see open box prices for the QN90A are really nice but also the X90J is so cheap I'd probably have to pick that up.

HOWEVER...I have found that the condition marked online sometimes doesnt match up to the actual item
Meaning I have seen "excellent" that I would not call excellent and "fair" that is really in excellent condition( per their condition parameters)
My understanding is that the store managers dont have the leeway they use to on marking the prices they want on open box items...so they may just downgrade the condition as their way of marking it down further
On another note...the open box QN90a prices actually went UP this past Sunday, so be prepared for that if you are contemplating buying an open box unit
