These might not be as stiff as the Goretex version, but I can't imagine the soles would be any more comfortable. Also, the Goretex version runs small, not sure if these do as well though.
I ended up getting a pair of Free Hikers to replace them and I love them! Its like night and day as far as comfort goes.
