24 hour fitness has just sent me a text for a pre-black-friday sale. $243 for platinum year paid-in-full. Wondering if I should bite. The previous best price I've seen was $250 on Oct 12th but I haven't been monitoring for long.

Do they typically do a pre black friday? Any indications that the price will go lower?

I googled, and it looks like last year they ran a deal for $20.22 per month for all clubs over BF/Cyber Monday.

See if your workplace or insurance offers "active and fit" or other gym subscription program. 24 hour fitness may be part of that program. The program also allows the use of other gyms too like LA fitness, esporta, gold's, planet fitness, etc. $25 bucks a month and easy to cancel online.

I appreciate the heads up about that program, but when I typed my zip code into the "Active& Fit Now" website, 24 doesn't come up as an option. And it looks like it's $29 a month if you're NOT joining through a company offer.

I have A&F Direct. A&F regular isn't available to me, and ASH is completely unwilling to help me find a way. A&F Direct can be obtained through a AAA membership, for example... But they wont tell me any other way than through an employer for A&F regular.

Sorry, somehow I missed that. So what's the difference between National and Platinum? If they are the same, then it's $210 a year for 2 years when you prepay vs $240 for the one year?
