Lol, what is this, 2010? Way too much for a 40" nice try best buy
Who's offering a better deal right now? The TCL deal was a loss leader and it's long gone. Loss leaders are meant to get you into the store. This Hisense has free shipping

Huh literally bought online and did curb side pickup never went into Target for the TCL 43 lol
Need a 40" for the smaller dimensions to fit inside a cabinet but 1080p at this price? Ehhh... No.. If it was 4k I'd probably grab one but guess I'll keep waiting, maybe bf/cm will produce!

Yes but not every single person did what you did. Some went in and bought other stuff. Same thing with the Walmart deals from last week. They're not forcing you. They want you to think it's your idea. "As long as I'm here..."

Manufacturer's would have to "produce" before black friday ever does because I don't think such a TV even exists. The smallest 4K's I'm aware of are 42".
How close are you sitting to a 40" TV anyway? You only benefit from 4K if you are sitting 5 feet away or less. This assumes 20/20 vision of course.

See the graph that is roughly in the middle of the page. At 8 feet away even 720p will suffice.

I don't even think that anyone even makes a 40" 4K. 42" is the smallest 4K I'm aware of.
