OCs very well unlike ampoo (well, better cooler than ASRock probably required).
6700k is weak sauce even for this card/games.
I had OCed 3600 and now went to OC 5800X3D.
CPU performance is insane. Heavily CPU limited games have tripled in performance or more. But I also play older stuff. Either way, framerates will be shoddy, especially 1% lows.

If you want an upgrade for cheap get a mATX b450/550 and 5600. That's under 200.

Yea id prolly just slowly rebuild but at that point might as well wait i guess. I never had good OC luck on gpus. So much time and testing for like 10% max. Always on air tho

I've had bad experiences with B-Stock EVGA motherboards twice. Part of that is my bad. I've just generally been happy with all new graphics cards. There's a bunch of brands like Sapphire, XFX, or Zotac that I'd mention if those are GPU OEM rankings.

For motherboards, I'd go:

Depends on what games you play. If you can get in on Zotac Refurbished, there are some great sales there too. Personally, I'd buy whatever RX 6700, RX 6700 XT, or RX 6750 XT went on sale because I keep my cards for a while and want more than 8GB VRAM (Well, if I were still looking. I got in on the Zotac sale.).

Although for price/performance, $515 is perfectly reasonable for this card. Here's my spreadsheet.

6700k is one of the last CPUs you can easily install Win 7 or 8 on!

I would not buy anything EVGA their replacement policy is horrible
Bought at GT PS which was bad in 1 day paid $$$ for a quick exchange and they sent me a G5 PS which was not the same cable configuration
When I called and asked they said it was all they had and I could return it and not pay a restocking fee leaving me without a PS
How's that for customer service

For anyone that has a Capital One Venture X credit card, they have 30% rewards on Newegg today. It's better than the Zip discount and you don't have to jump through hoops of a new payment plan signup.

Another thing is that Newegg also has the ASRock 6800 XT Taichi X OC for $539.99 w/o rebate or free games. (https://www.newegg.com/asrock-rad...-_-Product) Thought I put that out there for anyone who might actually want that one.

Same thing here. My order shows shipping from IN (I guess Indiana) with waiting for shipper pickup. I have another item shipping from GA with no label at all. This was supposed to be here on Black Friday in my hands. Don't trust the website listing expected time to receive item. They are not like Amazon lol.

Now I'm worried as well - I ordered the card yesterday and received an email from UPS today advising they've adjusted my expected receiving date to a later date pending receipt of the card from NewEgg. As I was placing the order for the card, NewEgg showed there were more than 2100 people with this card in their Shopping Cart. Do they actually have that many cards in stock or is it a matter of a whole bunch of folks getting their orders cancelled at some point?

I don't think they would over sell, but probably allowed more than stock to be in cart because many never purchased after being denied by ZIP. I do think they printed a bunch of labels early to create fake estimated delivery dates to trick people into ordering.

Maybe they don't work Black Fridays and only have a few people working? I glanced at the GPUs and most Nvidia and high end AMD stock are gone. The status is "packaged" whatever that means. That's maybe to prevent you from cancelling lol. Previous the 6800 XT did come in and out of stock.
