The phones are indeed junk - the screen resolution is just horrible. And I almost forgot how to operate flip phones. But I'm only in it for the reward points, hoping to reward myself a decent iPhone with a $300 credit eventually after the points become redeemable.
For those who're T-Mobile customers interested in trading them up to a budget smartphone, you may be out of luck. I tried it - the brand didn't show up in the list of eligible devices.
I wish I had known that the reward points were actually at the account level. I did a similar deal over a year ago 3 times but set up 3 different accounts. I've ported out two numbers for Visible deals and now I'm left with two accounts with some unused points.
Regardless hopefully you can find a usage for those extra points.
The broken one is not my primary though... so you might need to return both if you can't switch them

Am I missing a simpler method to import contacts from a different device into this phone? Is this just a limitation with all flip phones that do not run Android?
Should I export all the previous contacts into some specific format and put them on a micro SD card, then put that card into the Orbic and somehow import them?
Trying to help an elderly neighbor and his wife move from expensive prepaid to these Orbic phones. Getting the contacts copied over has me stumped! Husband lost his previous phone but his contacts are backed up via the Google contacts app. I'm not a stranger to import/export and CSV or other formats for various data types. Thought I could use my own Android phone to write the contacts to the SIM. My phone is tracfone branded and it will use the SIM from the Orbic happily. But dang if I can't write any contacts to the friggin' Tracfone SIM.
