Over two years ago there was a price of $1,074, however, with inflation and supply chain issues, this is the lowest price I have seen in over two years.
I have this exact mattress (Saatva Classic Mattress, Queen, 11.5" Luxury Firm) on one bed in the house. I have been waiting patiently to buy a second one to replace a disappointing Leesa mattress on another bed.

I really wanted to hate it and prove it wasn't worth 1500... but this is one situation I am glad I was wrong.
So I agree with the comment that it isn't really "on sale" as this is pretty much the standard price....but for quality, at least for me, it is worth every penny if you have lower back pain once your mattress in a box starts to sag and compress..
