On Android I can access flash drives with a file manager app. I think most phones come with some kind of file manager pre installed.

Confirmed with Samsung cust care. The sitewide free shipping doesn't apply memory. No way to avoid shipping cost from Sammy

My 256 writes at about 120 MB/s, and very consistently too - for like 70 GB of files in a row. Gets a bit toasty but I'm sure it's within spec.
