More on topic - the Roku boxes lack a bluetooth transmitter feature, so the only way to listen on headphones is either to (a) plug in a wired headset to the remote or (b) open the Roku app on your phone and listen via your phone's bluetooth connection. I almost always have my phone on me and this method has the advantage of not needing a multi-point headset to connect to both my phone and Roku at the same time.
If you have a dedicated headset for TV watching, or don't carry your phone, that can be a distinct disadvantage. The only place this matters for me is on the treadmill- I've got an AppleTV to run the TV there so my wife can direct connect her workout headphones while she runs.

Secondly, I had no idea that bluetooth wasn't built-in to Roku devices (seems dumb but what do I know). I was considering Roku just for the private listening feature but I'd still need to have it connect to bluetooth speaker when I'm not using that feature. Not having Kodi also sucks but I was thinking that switching to Plex would help with that.
