They have held up to abuse. I do not baby them. I usually have one can over an ear and the other off to the side. I also use them whilst laying on my side. (lol, whilst) No issues. The head strap "leather" has held up. No cracks or anything... and I use a lot of hair product. They still look brand new. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. I listen to audiobooks and not music, so I can't comment on the techy side of things...just comfort. That said, if I could get the Bose headphones at the same price, I would get those too. (I found those comfortable to wear, just not in my spending limit at the time).

Great suggestion for same price product. Interesting to see they have 4 mics vs Sony's 3. How can one compare mic, audio and ANC quality? Both look to be quality products, hard to tell which is better
