How is this a sale if the 55" is $1000 in all the big stores?
$2 off?
That's what I'm debating. I can drive to Target or Best Buy and get this today without worrying about shipping and damage. But this deal does include a free 4 year warranty...
Samsung EDU has the 55" for $899 ($100 savings), but no extra warranty. Although a lot of people have luck getting 2 year Samsung care warranties for free via chat in these Samsung posts.

I tried it yesterday. According to them, the free Samsung care offer expired on11/13
I'm not a warranty expert, but I've had great experience with Costco making things right if there are problems. It looks like year 1 is manufacturer, year 2 is Costco Concierge, and 3-5 is Allstate which is serviced by SquareTrade.

Gotcha, thanks. Guess the option is to save $100 bucks or to get the long warranty.

How do I see the EPP pricing? It's not showing up on the education offers for me?
