I just bought these during their halloween sale for $221.08 (after $25 coupon). Do you or anyone know if massdrop adjusts pricing
Edit: emailed customer service and they responded the next day. They stated:
"We will honor your request within 30 days of delivery and have an additional 15-day courtesy period. If you contact Drop Community Support during the Drop Studio sale and your order is within 45 days of delivery, we will honor your request and issue a partial refund for the difference between the price you originally paid and the current sale price."
Got a partial refund of $32.51, total price for me was $188.57

...So when we teamed up with Sennheiser on its first-ever community-driven design partnership, the HD 650 was a natural place to start. A new revision of the popular all-rounder, the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX has that same great sound plus a few updates, and a price that makes it even easier to love.
However, supposedly the tuning is slightly different (can't recall the references... think it was rtings).

I think these used to go down to $180 in the past but I'm not sure. This may just be the new sale price though. Still, these are a great value at $200. Terrific midrange. They are 300 ohms and need some juice though. I think they are best on tube amps for a magical mid-range, however, I could go for a bit more bass which tubes don't often give.

They should be. You can get good bluetooth headphones for slightly more in price. The SONY WH1000XM4 were $228 on sale at Best Buy. Bose QC45 was at $245 just yesterday on Amazon. You could find cheaper ones if wired ones are preferred than this.

You are correct. They were $180 a month or two ago.
These are the 650s, but just a cheaper version of it. Sound-wise, there should not be any difference. Build quality is where the difference would be. That is not to say that this will not last.
I own a pair of these and have been using them extensively for the past four years. Aside from having to replace the cable once, they've held up really well and the sound quality is amazing. I don't have them connected to a DAC or AMP or anything like that and they're still the best headphones I ever owned.
