1,341 433 November 14, 2022 at 04:18 PM
MacOS and Chrome Version 107.0.5304.110

I tried clearing cookies, quitting and relaunching the browser but still getting this on some pages, not all pages.

Same on Windows. Been like this for weeks now. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Hello,

I'm part of the development team at Slickdeals, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, we're working on fixing the underlying problems that caused this for you.

Can you please try going to the following URLs and try hard refreshing them/clearing cache:

https://slickdeals.net/mfe/dist/components/public/style.6c88ca7b49b824ba513f9cd0a39535eb2bd226bf864de30db02b9fbf3fbbb33b.css

Then try hard refreshing/clearing cache on any pages you see the broken footer on.

I thought SD was down for the past few days but now can see if I scroll down everything is there. Here is what I see when any sd pages load.

This has been happening to me for a while now too.

The issue here (if you're getting the 400 error like some folks above) is the cookie string is too long and thus the 400 error from nginx. So it's only happening for certain users who for some reason have gotten very large cookies set

I cleared cookies for slickdeals specifically and it's fixed.

If the fix that the dev mentioned above doesn't work for you, you may want to try clearing your cookies as dxfj suggests (and then potentially retrying the fix suggested by the dev)
