I run $100k-$150k/year through this for work reimbursed expenses and personal expenses. It is my mountain bike upgrade fund. Hard to beat no-nonsense 2% back. Salesforce recently started allowing me to pay with CC versus forcing me into ACH.
I use different cards for gas, groceries, restaurants, travel, and rental car insurance.
Only issue I've had is a couple times my auto payment was really high and I had not ensured my bank had enough funds. Not a big deal but they then lock you out of making payments to add available funds instantly. I have to wait 2 weeks for payments to clear for a couple months.

$2k-$3k a year in rewards ain't too shabby considering you don't have to put forth much effort.

If you're doing that kind of spend you ought to have enough $ to qualify for BoA Plat Honors status, which would get you 2.625% back instead of 2% on all your non-category spend.
(or if you're someone who travels, getting 1.5x UR or 2x MR would also offer significantly more value than 2% cash as well)

I need a BoA card. Thanks.
Right now I use the PayPal Master Card 2% cash back (just like this one) but you get 3% cash back when you make purchases through Paypal.
Which Chase credit card still gives 5% on groceries? I'm not finding any...
Freedom does at least 1 quarter per year ($1500 spend cap)- as does Discover and Citi Dividend- so that gets you 5% (or even better 5x UR) 3/4ths of the year if you have those cards.
And if you don't mind floating grocery gift cards you can cover the other quarter (esp if you have more than 1 freedom available to you).
Alternatively, the Citi custom cash can get you 5% on groceries year-round.

Chase Freedom Flex...
My wife has one and I have one. One is ONLY for groceries and the other is ONLY for gas. Then I got my Chase Freedom and Discover IT for their categories... 5%. And finally I have my PayPal Card... 2% cash back and 3% cash back if pay through Paypal. And I have a hotel card and a airline card.
Or is it like the Citi Custom Cash℠ Card where your top spend category would activate it for that category each quarter (like only groceries each quarter).?
I'm just trying to find if anything is better than Amex Blue Cash Preferred for 6% groceries until $6k = $360 1st year (2nd year is $95 annual fee = $265 reward) cash back per year on groceries. It basically comes out to about 4.5% cash back on groceries. But it's $6k max. For your card if it's only Jan-Mar, can't spend $6k in groceries in 3 months.

Yes, it's only for three months for groceries. Better off with your card unless you purchase all your groceries in those three months for the year!

Citi custom cash would get you 5% all year on groceries rather than the 4.5% you end up with on the amex after the fee- that'd be simplest.
Freedom and Discover would get you 5%/5x UR at least 3/4 of the year (assuming you shop anywhere that takes mobile wallets like applepay or the android equivalents)- if you had a Citi Dividend that'd potentially cover the other 1/4 of the year though they're not issued to new customers anymore.
I stopped using this card after getting Capital One Venture X. Venture X has a $395 annual fee, but after annual $300 travel credit and 10k points you effectively get paid $5 a year to have the card. Venture X also has 2% cash back on all purchases, along with many other worthwhile perks.
This is exactly what I was thinking while reading through this thread. I considered the Citi Double years ago right before I started traveling a lot and never actually got it. There were always better rewards cards for travelers.
The Venture X is an absolute no brainer for exactly the reason you said. On top of that, you can transfer those points to many valuable partners, which means it could earn even more such as 10%+ back depending on the redemption value.

Cant agree more!! Worst bank in the country, worst customer service. Recently closed my checking savings and pulled all my funds out..

You like to walk away from a lot of money for putting in minimal effort.
