For G10 handle material and 9Cr18MoV stainless blade, this is a pretty good deal. Rather than the hooked blade of most karambits, this knife has a slightly more utilitarian 3.5" tanto blade that would be more useful for non-tactical cutting tasks, but you still get to spin it on the ring and impress your ninja friends. I am seriously considering one, even though I already have a cheap Karambit fidget toy in my collection.

Highly recommended at this price, I was impressed by this knife.

This must've been meant as a hybrid. Typically a karambit will have a hawk bill blade. They were originally designed as a "feminine agricultural blade" for digging and cutting crops in fields, which is why they that curved shape to push away dirt. Another feature is the safety ring, which this one has and is probably why they're calling it a "karambit." The safety ring was also used by women to tie their tool in their hair when not in use. Of course if a village was invaded, it is what they already had on them to try and defend themselves, but still more of an agricultural blade.Smilie

I was SF and the karambit is the best hand to hand combat knife. Valid history there but that was a much bigger design in Indonesia.
