You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Repped my own deal. Too hard to not give the Pixel 7 a chance for $39 + tax. I hope the battery life holds up.

Trade-in (Pixel 6 Pro): -$550

Not a bad deal. I wasn't planning on upgrading to the 7 Pro from the 6 Pro, but it's a decent deal.
